I am thrilled to share with you today another article of mine that has been published on Her View From Home.
This piece was written before all the recent tragedy in our country. Although it has nothing to do with race or discrimination it has everything to do with kindness. And what better time than now to remember the importance of being kind in an unkind world.
After the shock wore off, those harsh words from a friend and women whom I have never met made me question everything I had ever learned about being kind. Would it have been better if I acted like them and attacked their every word? Should I have given them a hard time too? That would have been easier, I think, but I chose to let kindness prevail.
If you enjoyed it, please share, share, share. As always, I will be forever grateful.
Like I mentioned on My First Feature on The Huffington Post and my first article on Her View From Home, I truly am that small town girl that grew up wanting nothing more than to write and be heard. And that has finally happened for me.
My heart is so happy.
