Oh, Winter! I have a love/hate relationship with you. Love your beautiful snowfalls, but hate your frigid winds. I’m sure the kids feel the same way. We may or may not already be counting down the days until Spring. That title, unfortunately, doesn’t always mean warmer weather here in the Midwest. Until then, we’re gonna make do with what we have. Even if that means getting outside and freezing snot to our faces.
I love to watch Jase, Henley, and Sadie experiencing new things. A few weeks ago they had their first opportunity to play in the snow. I mean, like roll around, throw snowballs at the neighbor play. They had a blast. At almost 4 years old they always ready for new adventures. They’re braver and bolder than I ever remember being that their age. We had so much fun checking items off our fall bucket list, that I put together a wonderfully winter bucket list too.
We’re going to do everything from baking cookies and making indoor smores to performing (multiple) random acts of kindness and donating old toys. I can’t wait to get started.
What are you and your kids checking off this winter bucket list?
Is there anything I should add? Let me know in the comments!
