Thank you bObsweep for sponsoring today’s post. I was given this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
I always get the question “You’re done having kids, right?” Triplets are a handful, but part of me always wanted just one more. The hubs wanted no part of that, so I found my own way to add a new baby to the family.
I’d like to introduce to you, the triplets new little brother – bObsweep PetHair. Or as they like to call him – bObaluga. He’s the best little brother they never knew they wanted. His arrival earlier this month was super exciting. And friends, his birth weight was more than the triplets combined. At a perfect 7.6 lbs his presence in our home has been life changing.
He’s the epitome of the youngest child. He does what I ask without whining and crying. If only the older three could do the same.
If you haven’t figured it out already, bObsweep PetHair is a robotic vacuum.
Before kids, I was kind of doubtful about robotic vacuums. Interesting? Sure. But totally unnecessary in my opinion. I mean, who doesn’t have time to sweep their floors? Ha! A dog and three kids later I was begging my husband for any type of help around the house – specifically cleaning our wood floors.
I must tell you, I have a love/hate relationship with them. They’re beautiful, but they hide nothing. I found myself spending all day sweeping crumbs and dog hair. I’m kind of crazy that way. But, that’s another story for another time.
I Could list them all, but that would be super boring. Just visit the bObsweep website HERE for all the technical stuff. I’ll fill you in on the details that I appreciate. bObsweep PetHair does more than just vacuum. He also sweeps, mops, sterilizes with UV light, and even filters the air.
Setting up bOb was simple – all I had to do was attach one brush with a screwdriver, charge him for a bit, turn him on, and press start.
He’s easily become my favorite child! Just kidding!
We haven’t had a chance to try out all of bOb’s features yet, but so far we are in love him. He’s vacuumed our entire downstairs – six rooms and one long hallway (all hardwood with rugs) to be exact.
I am so amazed by technology. bObsweep has been able to find his way around our house without getting stuck under anything or lost in the piles of toys. I must mention that our kids are not good about picking up their toys. Although I mind, bObsweep does not. He just goes around them like they’re a piece of furniture. He’s even managed to clean some hard-to-reach spots, like underneath the built-in booth in our kitchen.
When his battery gets low, he finds his charging station, connects himself, and starts charging. It’s pretty cool to watch.
Oh my goodness, does he pick up a lot of hair! With me, two daughters, and a dog we shed so much hair. I didn’t realize just how much, though. I was shocked the first time I emptied the bin – so surprised in fact, that I let out a bit of a yell. bOb picked up so much more hair than my traditional vacuum or special brooms ever did.
